Bulk Invite
Invite multiple team members at once by pasting a list of email addresses.
The bulk invite feature lets team administrators onboard multiple users quickly by pasting a list of email addresses.
How It Works
- Paste a list of emails
- Review who will be invited
- Send invitations in one click
- Users receive email invitations to join your team
Using Bulk Invite
Step 1: Open the Invite Dialog
- Go to your team's License page
- Click the Invite by Email button
- The bulk invite dialog opens

Step 2: Paste Email Addresses
Enter email addresses in the text area. You can:
- Paste from a spreadsheet (one per line)
- Separate with commas:
john@acme.com, sarah@acme.com - Separate with semicolons:
john@acme.com; sarah@acme.com - Mix formats — we'll parse them all

Step 3: Review the Preview
The system checks each email and shows:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ✅ Will Invite | New email, will receive invitation |
| 👤 Already Member | Already on your team (skipped) |
| ❌ Invalid | Email format invalid (skipped) |
| ⚠️ Duplicate | Entered twice (skipped) |
You'll also see:
- Total valid emails to invite
- Available seats remaining
- Warning if you don't have enough seats

Step 4: Send Invitations
- Optionally add a personal message
- Click Send Invitations
- Watch the progress indicator
- Review the results

Invitation Emails
Recipients receive an email containing:
- Your team name
- Who invited them
- Your optional personal message
- A link to accept and create their account
Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted.
Managing Invitations
View Pending Invitations
Go to Members to see all pending invitations with:
- Email address
- Invitation date
- Status (Pending, Accepted, Expired)
Resend an Invitation
- Find the invitation in the Members page
- Click the menu icon
- Select Resend
Cancel an Invitation
- Find the invitation in the Members page
- Click the menu icon
- Select Delete
The seat will be freed up immediately.
Seat Management
Before Inviting
The preview shows how many seats you have available. If you try to invite more people than you have seats:
- A warning appears
- The "Send" button is disabled
- You must either reduce the list or upgrade your subscription
After Inviting
- Each accepted invitation consumes one seat
- Pending invitations don't consume seats until accepted
- Expired invitations free up potential seats
Best Practices
Prepare Your List
- Clean up your email list before pasting
- Remove any outdated or incorrect emails
- Verify you have enough seats
Communicate First
- Let your team know invitations are coming
- Include context in your personal message
- Share what SN Utils does and why you're using it
Follow Up
- Check the Members page for pending invitations
- Resend to users who haven't responded
- Set up onboarding documentation for new users
Limits
- Maximum 50 emails per batch
- Subject to your subscription seat limit
- 5 invitation batches per hour (rate limit)
FAQ
Can I import from CSV?
Currently, you paste the emails directly. Export your CSV emails to a simple list first.
What if someone doesn't receive the invitation?
- Check their spam folder
- Verify the email address is correct
- Try resending from the Members page
- Contact support if issues persist
Can I invite users with different roles?
All bulk invitations use the same role (default: Member). For different roles, invite users individually from the Members page.
What happens to invalid emails?
They're skipped and shown in the preview. Only valid emails receive invitations.
