Installing SN Utils
How to install the SN Utils browser extension on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and other browsers.
Install the Extension
The easiest way to install is via the install page — it detects your browser automatically and recommends the right version.

Which Version to Install
SN Utils comes in two versions, each with a distinct icon so you can tell them apart at a glance:

| SN Utils OnPrem | Blue | Any instance uses a custom or local domain (e.g. sn.acme.com) |
The codebase for both versions is identical — you won't miss any features regardless of which one you choose. The only difference is in the host permissions: the regular version is locked to *.service-now.com, while OnPrem requests access to all URLs so it can run on any domain.
Troubleshooting
If you see the message "SN Utils does not run on the current page!", you are likely using the standard extension on a non service-now.com domain. See:
