Get SN Utils up and running in 5 minutes.

Get SN Utils installed and working in just a few minutes — no account required.

Step 1: Install the Extension

Install SN Utils for your browser — the install page detects your browser automatically:

Choose the right version:

  • Normal version — For instances at *.service-now.com
  • OnPrem version — For instances on custom domains like sn.acme.com

Pin It to Your Toolbar

After installing, pin SN Utils to your browser toolbar so it's always one click away. Click the extensions puzzle icon and toggle the pin:

Step 2: Try It Out

Open any ServiceNow instance — SN Utils activates automatically. Try these right away:

  1. Slash commands — Type / in the filter navigator to search, navigate, and run utility commands
  2. Technical Names — Enable Technical Names on the Manage page to see field names on forms and lists
  3. Form shortcuts — Double-click a label to edit a field value, CTRL-click labels to build a filter

No configuration needed. All free features work instantly.

Step 3: Upgrade to Pro (Optional)

Want access to Sidekick, Snippets, Cloud Sync, Content Packs, and team sharing? Pro is licensed for professional use and unlocks everything.

  1. Go to snutils.com/connect/subscribe
  2. Sign up & subscribe — the guided flow handles account creation and payment in one step
  3. Activate — the connect wizard walks you through granting permission and activating the extension right in your browser. One click and you're done.
