Popup Window

The popup window provides quick access to instance-specific tools and information. Click the SN Utils icon in your browser toolbar to open it.

Update Sets Tab

Shows Update Sets in the current scope. You can filter, set active, or open the Update Set in a new tab.

Updates Tab

Shows the last 20 updates (sys_update_xml records) updated by the current user. You can filter, open the update record, or navigate to the target record.

A useful scenario: when you edit something in a specific interface (like UI Builder), you can quickly access the underlying records that were created.

Nodes Tab

Lists active nodes in your instance. You can see your current node and force-switch to a different one.

This is useful for troubleshooting — for example, when reviewing node logs or checking logged-in users on a specific node.

Note: Node switching is not supported in Safari/WebKit-based browsers.

Tables Tab

Shows a list of all tables in your instance. For performance, the list is loaded once a day and cached. You can force a refresh by clicking the refresh button.

With the icons in each row, you can quickly open:

• The table list
• The table structure
• The ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram)

View Data Tab

When viewing a List or Record, the View Data tab lets you explore the raw data for the current page context. This is useful for inspecting field values, sys_ids, and metadata without navigating to the XML view.

Users Tab

When you have text selected (like a username from Updated By or Created By columns), opening the popup will attempt to look up that user and reveal their identity.

GlideRecord Tab

When viewing a List or Record, the GlideRecord tab provides a template script you can adjust and copy. This serves as a starting point you can modify for your use case.

You can:

• Change the variable name
• Copy the prepared script
• Open it directly in a new background script

Whitelist Tab

Control which instances SN Utils is active on. Add or remove instance URLs to limit the extension to specific environments. Reload your browser after changing whitelist settings for the changes to take effect.
